Role Overview
Voyages Tourism Australia is hiring a Porter for the Outback Hotel and Lodge at Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara, Northern Territory. This is an on-site opportunity in a unique resort setting about 20 minutes by road from Uluru, offering the chance to live and work in one of Australia’s most iconic destinations.
The position is suited to someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in guest service, and can help create a strong first and last impression for visitors. You will be part of the Front Office Team and handle a range of guest-facing and support tasks in a friendly, efficient manner.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome arriving guests warmly and ensure departing guests leave with a positive impression.
- Manage guest luggage between the resort’s hotel areas in a prompt and organised way.
- Assist with incoming guests by coordinating with reception on room assignments and delivering luggage to rooms soon after arrival.
- Help maintain guest rooms, offices, vehicles, conference and function spaces, and outdoor areas as directed by management.
- Use a full Australian driver’s licence for the role; a manual licence is preferred.
