About the role
This contract position is for a population health specialist who can help refine AI systems used in public health and community health analysis. You will use your knowledge of health data, epidemiology, and analytics to judge the quality of AI outputs and strengthen their accuracy, completeness, and usefulness.
The work is fully remote and designed to be flexible, so you can complete tasks on your own schedule.

What you will do
- Check AI-created health content and analyses for correctness, completeness, and medical relevance.
- Assess summaries and insights about health trends, disparities, and outcomes at the community level.
- Give structured expert feedback on dashboards, data flows, reporting systems, and surveillance approaches.
- Spot missing information, mistakes, or potentially misleading conclusions in AI responses covering public health topics.
- Convert advanced population health ideas into clear, practical feedback that helps improve model performance.
- Help define evaluation standards for health informatics-related content.
Profile
- Experience working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets.
- Strong analytical ability and comfort reviewing health data and outcomes critically.
- Capable of evaluating charts, dashboards, and reporting tools for quality and accuracy.
- Able to explain complex findings in a clear, structured way.
- Self-directed, dependable, and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous setup.
Preferred background
- Training or experience in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health informatics, or a closely related area.
- Exposure to health surveillance systems, EHR data, or community health measures.
- Previous involvement in data annotation, data quality review, or AI training work.
- Experience presenting health data insights to non-technical audiences.
