Position Overview

Alignerr is collaborating with top AI research groups to advance the development of intelligent health AI systems. We seek a Population Health Informaticist to leverage expertise in health data analytics to scrutinize and enhance AI models that address population-wide health concerns.

Role Details

• Role Type: Hourly Contract
• Work Arrangement: Fully remote, flexible hours
• Time Commitment: Between 10 and 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Critically assess AI-generated insights pertaining to population health for their precision, relevance, and clinical validity
• Use your mastery of health datasets to detect inaccuracies, insufficiencies, or misleading conclusions in AI outputs
• Aggregate and analyze population health metrics to refine AI training processes
• Review and provide detailed feedback on AI-created dashboards, data pipelines, and reporting tools
• Translate intricate health data concepts into clear and actionable examples for AI learning
• Spot and report disparities, oversimplifications, or logical errors within AI-produced public health materials

Candidate Profile

• Experienced in managing and interpreting healthcare, public health, or population dataset information
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization and reporting
• Capable of discerning accurate versus misleading or incomplete health data
• Effective communicator able to convert technical analysis into structured, practical feedback
• Self-driven and comfortable executing responsibilities independently and asynchronously

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or AI assessment workflows
• Educational or professional background in epidemiology, biostatistics, health informatics, or public health policy
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, population health registries, or frameworks supporting health equity
