Job description
Role overview
The German Film Academy is looking for a Political Educator to join its work in film culture, participation, and democracy. The position begins on 14 September 2026 and is part-time at 25 hours per week. It is fixed-term until 31 May 2029 and based in Berlin.
Key responsibilities
- Support democratic self-efficacy and help young people in rural areas take part more fully in social and cultural life.
- Use cultural practice to strengthen dialogue, conflict-handling, and reflective skills.
- Make young people’s viewpoints and concerns more visible through film-based storytelling.
