About the Role

Dear Media is looking for a resourceful and creative Podcast Producer to manage the end-to-end production of about six podcasts every week, spanning both audio and video formats. This role involves overseeing the entire production workflow, ensuring content quality, and maintaining compliance with network standards.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate closely with hosts to sustain timely weekly episode releases and uphold production timelines.
Collaborate with talent for creative development and show enhancements while ensuring network guidelines are followed meticulously.
Manage recording sessions, including scheduling and logistics, to guarantee smooth operations.
Work jointly with the editing team to produce polished episodes, responding to client feedback and ensuring superior audio and video quality.
Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on all episodes to eliminate errors and optimize the listening/viewing experience.
Oversee the publishing and distribution of episodes across various platforms, maintaining punctual and correct releases.
Maintain regular communication with talent to discuss creative strategy, provide feedback, and resolve issues; escalate critical concerns to senior production management as needed.
Review show performance data monthly with talent and internal teams and share detailed analytical reports.
Manage weekly advertisement execution within shows by ensuring all ad elements and calls-to-action are included and assist talent in designing engaging ad reads.

Qualifications and Skills

Demonstrated experience in podcast production, inclusive of editing and managing both audio and video content.
Proficient in audio and video editing software such as Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, and Audacity.
Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Keen attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality outputs.
Familiarity with podcast analytics tools and various distribution channels.
Knowledge of podcast advertising processes is advantageous.
Experience specifically in video podcasting is required.
