Position Overview

This opportunity suits a meticulous podcast editor enthusiastic about storytelling and audio production. The role involves editing episodes centered on millennial themes such as dating, family, careers, and health. Each podcast episode runs between 40 and 60 minutes, incorporating 1 to 3 camera angles. This fully remote position offers flexible working conditions and creative input to a show aimed at a diverse audience. Your work will enhance episode quality, allowing the host to concentrate on content and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Edit podcast audio and video episodes utilizing DaVinci Resolve, ensuring seamless transitions and professional audio clarity.
Perform basic color grading to maintain a polished and consistent visual aesthetic.
Handle synchronization and management of multiple camera perspectives.
Provide final edited episodes in specified formats, adhering to deadlines.
Work closely with the host to implement feedback and sustain the show's style and tone.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency with DaVinci Resolve for both video and audio editing tasks.
Experience with podcast editing or similarly lengthy content formats.
Exceptional attention to detail to produce clean, captivating edits.
Competence in basic video color grading techniques.
Ability to coordinate multiple camera angle footage with audio tracks.
