Role Summary

The PMV Administrator will support the Plant, Machinery & Vehicles function through strong administration, coordination, and reporting. This role is responsible for keeping asset and equipment information accurate, monitoring plant movement, managing documents, and helping ensure smooth PMV operations across project sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep the PMV asset register, equipment database, and related records current and accurate.
  • Record equipment allocation, movement to and from sites, transfers, mobilization, and demobilization activity.
  • Track inspection records, maintenance plans, service logs, and certification status for plant and vehicles.
  • Review and update daily timesheets for machinery, generators, vehicles, and other deployed equipment.
  • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering equipment status, usage levels, breakdowns, and fuel usage.
  • Maintain records of diesel and fuel consumption and assist with fuel reconciliation.
  • Handle equipment requests, rental paperwork, and records from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Work closely with project, workshop, procurement, and finance teams on PMV documentation and coordination.
  • Check the validity of registration documents, permits, inspection certificates, and other equipment-related approvals.
  • Organize filing systems for invoices, purchase orders, maintenance documents, and equipment files.
  • Support PMV expense tracking, invoice checking, and data entry in ERP or PMV software.
  • Assist in building reports, presentations, and dashboards for PMV management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of PMV administration experience in the UAE construction sector.
  • Practical exposure to construction plant, equipment records, and site-level documentation.
  • Strong command of MS Office, with very good Excel skills.
  • Hands-on experience using ERP systems or equipment management software.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken, is essential because the role involves regular communication and documentation with Arabic-speaking stakeholders and authorities.
