Role Summary
The head office finance team is looking for an experienced and highly detail-focused Financial Controller / Financial Reporting Specialist. This position centers on management reporting, financial analysis, advanced Excel-based modelling, and supporting decision-making. Experience in contracting or construction environments is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce precise and punctual financial reports for management use.
- Create, improve, and manage reporting templates, dashboards, and financial frameworks.
- Analyze financial data and translate findings into practical business insights.
- Extract and interpret data from ERP platforms such as Oracle or comparable systems.
- Design and maintain Excel-based financial models to assist forecasting and strategic planning.
- Check models and assumptions to confirm they are accurate and internally consistent.
- Maintain adherence to accounting standards and sound reporting practices.
- Work closely with teams across the business to strengthen reporting quality and financial transparency.
- Contribute to the automation and upgrading of reporting workflows, including data-driven and AI-assisted reporting tools where relevant.
- Assist with audits and support compliance with internal controls and procedures.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in finance, financial reporting, or controlling functions.
- Proven strength in financial analysis and management reporting.
- Advanced Excel capability and strong financial modelling skills are essential.
- Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with data extraction and reporting tools.
