About the Role
Bassetlaw District Council is currently seeking a dynamic PMO Project Manager to contribute to the evolution and improvement of local government in Worksop. This pivotal position is responsible for managing a broad portfolio of initiatives, ranging from infrastructure updates to digital transformation projects, ensuring that each project is delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines.
- Drive planning and execution for infrastructure and digital transformation efforts.
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate successful project delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring seamless progress toward goals.
- Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the PMO environment.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in project management, ideally within a government or public sector context.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
- Capability to work as part of a team as well as independently when required.
- Commitment to driving positive change and delivering tangible outcomes for the community.
