PMO / Project Management Officer - UAE National Opportunity

Role Overview

This opportunity is for a PMO / Project Management Officer role intended specifically for UAE nationals, based in Ras al-Khaimah. The role involves overseeing project timelines, milestones, and risks to ensure successful project delivery while supporting governance and compliance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee project schedules, deliverables, risks, and milestones to ensure adherence.
• Create and update project dashboards, Management Information System (MIS) reports, and comprehensive status updates.
• Monitor and report project KPIs, budgets, resource allocation, and overall progression.
• Collaborate effectively with Project Managers and various departmental stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed RAID logs documenting Risks, Actions, Issues, and Dependencies related to projects.
• Facilitate governance processes, document management, and ensure compliance standards are met.
• Organize and manage project meetings, ensuring follow-up on action items until completion.
• Detect delays promptly and escalate any risks or issues to appropriate levels.
• Assist in compiling portfolio-level reports and preparing materials for management presentations.
• Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all project documentation and records.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a closely related discipline.
• Bring 3 to 5 or more years of experience in PMO, project coordination, or project management roles.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Power BI, Jira, Primavera P6, or equivalents will be advantageous.
• Good comprehension of project governance frameworks, reporting standards, risk management processes, and the overall project lifecycle.
• Holding certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies is considered beneficial.
• Exhibit excellent analytical capabilities, communication skills, and ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
