PMO Governance Lead

Role overview

Systems Arabia is hiring an experienced PMO Governance Lead to strengthen delivery governance across several workstreams and initiatives. This position focuses on tracking portfolio health, preparing quarterly business review (QBR) reporting, maintaining governance standards, and giving leadership clear visibility into risks, interdependencies, and progress against delivery plans.

What you will do

• Oversee governance across multiple initiatives and workstreams.
• Monitor portfolio performance and delivery status.
• Prepare and manage QBR reporting for leadership review.
• Ensure governance processes and compliance requirements are followed.
• Surface risks, dependencies, and blockers early for executive attention.
• Support stakeholder alignment and delivery oversight across the portfolio.

Experience and technical requirements

• Bring 10+ years of professional experience in PMO, governance, portfolio management, or program management.
• Have led or supported large portfolios with several initiatives running at the same time.
• Be well-versed in governance frameworks, KPI monitoring, and executive-level reporting.
• Have practical exposure to QBR-based operating models.
• Be comfortable handling risks, cross-team dependencies, and delivery follow-up.
• Use tools such as Power BI, Jira, MS Project, Clarity, and advanced Excel with confidence.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a similar discipline is required.
• A master's degree is an added advantage.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or comparable credentials are beneficial.
• Prior experience in telecom or large enterprise settings is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management abilities are important for this role.
