About the Role
An exceptional opportunity to work at the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar has opened. Intrepid Acquisition Holdings (IAH), a leading firm specializing in logistics, facility management, and technical services for U.S. and international government clients, is seeking a skilled Plumber Technician. This role offers a competitive salary coupled with the chance to operate within a dynamic international military environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Install and repair piping and components within heating, water supply, and wastewater systems.
- Analyze building blueprints to determine work requirements and installation sequence.
- Set up and maintain valves, metallic and non-metallic pipelines, and related fixtures.
- Fit and service plumbing equipment including sinks, water heaters, and drainage systems.
- Inspect, test, and maintain backflow prevention devices to ensure system integrity.
- Address emergency repairs promptly, including unclogging blockages and mending damaged pipes.
Applicant Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Holding a Master or Journeyman plumbing license or possessing equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of three years of professional plumbing experience with a focus on backflow prevention inspection and maintenance.
- A valid U.S. driver's license is mandatory.
- Possession of a current Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Preference given to candidates with a U.S. passport.
- Ability to secure a Qatar residence visa.
- Capable of working under harsh environmental conditions such as high temperatures and dusty surroundings.
- Compliance with USCENTCOM deployment requirements.
