Plant/Weighbridge Operator - Quarries

Role overview

This position offers a varied, practical opportunity within the Quarry team, blending administration with on-site operational support. The role helps keep daily site activities organised, efficient, and aligned with safety standards.

What you will do

• Handle purchasing needs, including office consumables and other routine supplies.
• Support weighbridge activity when required.
• Monitor receipts and ensure external labour records are processed correctly.
• Assist with onboarding and site inductions for new employees.
• Manage timesheets and complete work order closures.
• Use Maximo to improve workflow and simplify team processes.
• Support the Quarry Manager with training plans and team development coordination.
• Oversee PPE and supply ordering to keep the site equipped and prepared.

What we are looking for

• Strong administrative experience, ideally with exposure to quarrying or mining environments.
• Comfort working with Maximo or a similar system.
• A consistent focus on safety and quality in day-to-day work.
• A self-motivated approach with the ability to work well as part of a team.
