Job Opportunity: Plant Head for Automotive Lighting Manufacturing

We are looking for a seasoned Plant Head to oversee comprehensive manufacturing activities at our Automotive Lighting production facility. The successful candidate will be accountable for promoting production excellence, maintaining compliance with quality standards, boosting operational efficiency, and leading cross-departmental teams to meet corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all plant functions including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Stores, Dispatch, and Utilities management.
• Ensure adherence to mandated quality benchmarks and regulations.
• Oversee production scheduling, optimize capacity utilization, and lead efforts to raise productivity while minimizing costs.
• Track and enhance crucial manufacturing metrics such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield rates, product rejection ratios, and punctuality in deliveries.
• Champion continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies.
• Control capital expenditures (CAPEX), operational expenses (OPEX), budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Build and nurture high-performance teams, promoting a workplace culture centered on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Facilitate activities related to new product launches, validations, and plant growth initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in manufacturing with at least 5 years serving as a Plant Head or Operations Head.
• Background in the auto components sector, ideally specializing in automotive lighting.
• Proficient in injection molding, assembly line operations, quality assurance systems, and initiatives for manufacturing excellence.
• Strong leadership qualities combined with adeptness in problem-solving and managing stakeholder relationships.
