Role Overview

This position focuses on building, tracking, and controlling project timelines so that assignments finish on schedule. You will work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to keep milestones on course, spot possible delays early, and put corrective measures in place.

Core Responsibilities

• Create detailed project schedules with planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Set up baseline schedules that cover engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
• Review project progress regularly and refresh schedules to measure performance against the approved baseline.
• Use Critical Path Method (CPM) techniques to identify tasks that directly influence project completion.
• Work with project stakeholders to ensure activities are sequenced correctly and completed on time.
• Prepare weekly and monthly status reports, dashboard updates, and management presentations.
• Carry out delay assessment and recovery planning to reduce schedule slippages.
• Support quantity estimation and costing activities for vendor finalization.
• Coordinate closely with procurement, engineering, and construction functions to keep schedules aligned.
• Assess project risks and suggest practical mitigation actions.
• Assist with planning inputs for change management, claims, and variation orders.
• Guide and support planning engineers within the project team.
