Role Overview

STS Group is hiring an experienced Planner / Scheduler for a data centre project in Dublin. In this position, you will support planning activities and progress reporting for electrical work packages.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Build, maintain, and update engineering, construction, and commissioning schedules while keeping them accurate and current.
  • Carry out schedule health reviews before baseline approval to check accuracy, logic, and critical path integrity.
  • Load resources into schedules and develop as well as monitor relevant performance indicators.
  • Track budget impacts linked to scope growth or project changes.
  • Compare planned progress against actual earned value progress.
  • Work with the wider team to ensure issues are recorded and managed through the correct change control processes.
  • Attend internal and client site meetings when needed.
  • Measure productivity for trades and craft labour by comparing spent hours with earned hours.

Requirements

  • Strong spoken and written English, with the ability to produce clear, accurate reports.
  • Hands-on experience with planning tools such as Primavera or MS Project.

Preferred Background

  • An electrical trade qualification or a tertiary qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering would be an advantage.
  • Experience on mission-critical MEP projects, especially data centres or pharmaceutical facilities, is desirable.

Why Consider This Role

  • Join a dynamic and expanding construction business.
  • Work with a supportive team that values development and contribution.
  • Receive a competitive compensation package.
