About the Company

Role Overview
STS Group is hiring an experienced Planner / Scheduler for a data centre project in Dublin. In this position, you will support planning activities and progress reporting for electrical work packages.
What You Will Be Doing
- Build, maintain, and update engineering, construction, and commissioning schedules while keeping them accurate and current.
- Carry out schedule health reviews before baseline approval to check accuracy, logic, and critical path integrity.
- Load resources into schedules and develop as well as monitor relevant performance indicators.
- Track budget impacts linked to scope growth or project changes.
- Compare planned progress against actual earned value progress.
- Work with the wider team to ensure issues are recorded and managed through the correct change control processes.
- Attend internal and client site meetings when needed.
- Measure productivity for trades and craft labour by comparing spent hours with earned hours.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in planner or scheduler positions.
- Strong spoken and written English, with the ability to produce clear, accurate reports.
- Hands-on experience with planning tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
Preferred Background
- An electrical trade qualification or a tertiary qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering would be an advantage.
- Experience on mission-critical MEP projects, especially data centres or pharmaceutical facilities, is desirable.
