After a successful probation period, the arrangement changes to one day per week working from home.

The compensation package is €80,000 to €90,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

  • Build tender-stage construction programmes and prepare the accompanying planning narratives.
  • Set up, update, and manage detailed project schedules using MS Project, Primavera P6, or Asta Powerproject.
  • Track delivery against plan, review critical paths, and flag programme-related risks.
  • Work alongside project teams on sequencing, scheduling logic, and resource planning.
  • Prepare reporting outputs such as Gantt charts, S-curves, dashboards, and regular programme status updates.
  • Lead or support programme review meetings and propose corrective measures when needed.
  • Help strengthen planning standards and continuous improvement practices across projects.

Candidate profile

  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a closely related field.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of construction planning and scheduling experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish construction methods, sequencing, and resource coordination.
  • Hands-on experience on medium to large construction projects.
  • Familiarity with Public Works and RIAI contract structures is an advantage.
  • Well-developed communication, analytical, and stakeholder management abilities.

Benefits

  • 21 days of annual leave, plus extra leave for long service.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Company vehicle for site travel.
  • Laptop and mobile phone supplied.
  • Company sick pay scheme.
  • Improved maternity and paternity benefits.
  • Wedding leave.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme.
  • Access to ongoing CPD, training, and development support.
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
  • Regular social and wellbeing activities.
