Role Summary
We are seeking a Planner to join our Flow Planning Team based in Leeds, working remotely. This role is pivotal in coordinating water quality monitoring activities by collaborating with field crews, clients, and internal teams to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine and prioritize inspection sites using client data with MapInfo (GIS) and Google Maps.
- Apply for traffic permits utilizing MapInfo, Google Maps, and crew inputs.
- Engage with land and business owners to secure site access and necessary permissions.
- Create Land Entry Notices within MapInfo referencing site investigations and land registry records.
- Maintain consistent communication with field crews.
- Develop daily and weekly field crew schedules via the Teamleaf work management tool, integrating information from land registries and permit applications.
- Handle both physical and electronic site documentation, including data and site photographs, maintaining accurate datasets and generating reports.
- Provide analysis and reporting on crew and contract performance as required.
- Contribute to refining planning procedures and tools within Teamleaf for ongoing process improvements.
- Collaborate with external clients when necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in roles involving planning, scheduling, coordination, or operational support.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with capability to liaise professionally with stakeholders and landowners.
- Exceptional attention to detail in managing data, documentation, and report generation.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to site access and operational challenges.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and rapid adaptability to specialized software systems.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range offered is £27,976 to £29,604 annually, depending on experience and subject to increases with progression.
