Role Summary

As a Piping Supervisor based in Doha, Qatar, you will manage day-to-day piping and pipeline construction work at site. This full-time position focuses on coordinating crews, tracking schedules, and making sure installations follow project drawings, specifications, and safety requirements. You will also inspect ongoing work, confirm efficient use of materials and equipment, resolve field-level technical issues, and work closely with engineers and other supervisors to keep execution on track.

Key Duties

• Direct piping crews on site and assign work according to the project plan.
• Coordinate daily and short-term work schedules to support smooth execution.
• Ensure piping and pipeline activities are carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications, and safety rules.
• Check site progress regularly through inspections and field observations.
• Verify proper handling and use of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Address technical issues encountered during installation and construction.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other disciplines to support project delivery.
• Assist with quality control and testing activities, including hydrotesting and system checks.
• Maintain accurate site records and submit daily progress updates.
• Promote and uphold a strong safety culture throughout the work area.

Qualifications and Technical Profile

The ideal candidate should bring strong site supervision ability, practical piping knowledge, and prior exposure to construction projects in oil and gas, petrochemical, or industrial settings. You should be able to read and interpret piping isometrics, technical drawings, P&IDs, and method statements, and understand pipe installation, alignment, support systems, weld fit-up, and quality inspection requirements. Familiarity with standards such as ASME, ASTM, and API is important, along with a proven approach to safe work execution. A technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred, though equivalent hands-on experience may also be considered. The role requires effective communication, coordination with diverse site teams, and readiness to work extended hours or shifts when the project demands it.

This is an on-site role in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must be willing to work according to project schedules, which may include extended hours or shift-based work when required.
