Role Overview

As a Picker at Booker, you will play a vital role in exceeding customer expectations by performing various tasks throughout the store. Your duties will include replenishing shelves, assisting at the tills, managing stock quantities, and picking orders for delivery. Each day will present new challenges, but all actions contribute to ensuring customers receive their items quickly and efficiently. This position requires someone with a proactive attitude and a strong commitment to exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and dispatch goods using a hand held terminal, promptly notifying the Manager of any discrepancies.
• Inspect product quality, verify shelf life, and ensure packaging is secure prior to delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and meeting targets.
• Maintain politeness and professionalism when interacting with delivery staff, appropriately addressing inquiries and complaints or escalating complex issues.
