Physiotherapist

Overview

This role is for a physiotherapist with the Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre in Williams Lake, British Columbia. The position is based on site and requires work to be done at the physical location; remote work is not available.

Language Requirement

English fluency is required for this position.

Education

A trades certificate or diploma in a relevant field is required.

Experience

Prior experience is considered an asset, but it is not mandatory.

Work Setting

The role involves working across different locations as needed.

Core Duties

• Carry out assessment and evaluation tests for patients.
• Review and measure each patient’s physical capabilities.
• Develop physiotherapy treatment plans and exercise programs.
• Choose suitable exercises, equipment, and manual techniques.
• Prepare and keep clinical records and patient progress notes up to date.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when needed.

Credentials

Registration or licensure from the relevant provincial or territorial authority is required.
