Job description

About the Role

Better Rehab is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join its Bankstown team in a senior or supervisory capacity. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference for participants while working within a clinician-founded and clinician-led disability and aged care organisation. The position is full-time, with part-time flexibility available, and includes hybrid working options with the ability to structure your week around your energy and priorities.

The organisation emphasises realistic expectations, flexibility, and sustainable long-term careers. You will support NDIS and aged care participants through a varied caseload, with referrals coordinated by intake and clinical leadership. The role is based around Campbelltown, with options to work remotely or from the Bankstown team as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver participant-focused physiotherapy care guided by the organisation’s core values.
  • Work across homes, clinics, and community settings to support a broad and meaningful caseload.
  • Provide care for NDIS and aged care participants referred through the intake process.
  • Collaborate with experienced clinical leaders and a multidisciplinary team on complex cases.
  • Use flexible diary management to plan your schedule with autonomy.
  • Contribute to long-term participant outcomes rather than volume-based targets.
  • Access supervision and development support as you grow into a senior/supervisor pathway.

What They’re Looking For

  • Full general AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist.
  • A minimum of 4 years of post-graduate experience.
  • A valid driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, and Police Check, or a willingness to obtain them.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing within a team-based clinical environment.
  • Experience or interest in disability and aged care work across community-based settings.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Salary range of $85,000 to $115,000+ plus superannuation.
  • $6,000 sign-on bonus.
  • Full-time or part-time hybrid work arrangement.
  • Client travel capped at 30 minutes.
  • Paid travel at $1.17 per km.
  • Personal professional development budget plus 4 paid study days each year.
  • 8 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Rewards program offering bonus pay, additional leave, professional development, and other benefits.
  • Clear pathways for progression, leadership, and ongoing career development.
  • Supportive clinician-led culture with realistic KPIs and strong supervision.
  • Opportunities across more than 30 Australian locations.
