About GTZ Friedrichskoog
GTZ Friedrichskoog is an outpatient spa and wellness center located in the North Sea resort town of Friedrichskoog along the west coast of Schleswig-Holstein. The center offers patients and guests a variety of physiotherapy services focused on rehabilitation, prevention, and wellness, harnessing the healing powers of the sea. The facility specializes in treatments related to the musculoskeletal system and respiratory tract. Amenities include a seawater thermal bath, steam bath, fitness and cosmetic areas, providing comprehensive health and wellness services.
Responsibilities
- After an initial training phase, independently manage care for patients and clientele.
- Plan and execute individual and group therapy sessions based on medical diagnoses and personal assessments.
- Conduct aquafitness and therapy sessions in the 32°C heated movement pool, which are emphasized treatments at GTZ.
- Offer physiotherapy using equipment, respiratory treatments, massages, electrotherapy, as well as heat and hydrotherapy.
- If certified, provide specialized Bobath therapy for both adults and children.
Qualifications
- Completion of a physiotherapy training recognized in Germany.
- Preferably some years of professional experience along with specialist qualifications in manual lymph drainage, manual therapy, or Bobath therapy.
- Committed newcomers to the profession are also welcome.
- Therapist couples are encouraged to apply; matching work hours and vacations can be arranged.
- Opportunities for further professional development and certification are available with costs covered by GTZ, depending on skills and interests.
- Proficient German language skills at level B2 or higher.
