The center aims to provide early intervention through a balanced mix of structured academics and active play, helping every child reach their fullest potential.

Role Overview

We are seeking a lively and committed Physical Education (PE) Teacher specialized in supporting special needs preschool children aged 3 to 8 years. This role requires hands-on involvement, strong classroom management skills, emotional sensitivity, and high physical energy. The coach will facilitate developmental progress in a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive setting.

Primary Duties

  • Conduct daily physical education sessions and outdoor activities, actively engaging with children during multiple movement-based sessions throughout the day.
  • Assist each child in accomplishing developmental objectives including independent task completion and effective group participation.
  • Regularly observe and document students' development for internal tracking and parent communication.
  • Communicate closely with parents to share updates, ensure consistency between home and school environments, and collaborate effectively with supervisors and peers within team frameworks.
  • Provide behavioral and emotional support while maintaining a safe, structured, and closely supervised environment for all activities, demonstrating vigilance and responsibility in child care.

Qualifications and Skills Needed

  • Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or above.
  • No prior experience required, though familiarity or experience in special education is advantageous.
  • Strong desire to learn, work collaboratively in a team, and establish a long-term career.
  • Personal qualities such as patience, adaptability, energy, teamwork, and genuine passion for working with neurodivergent children.
  • Open to receiving feedback, comfortable conforming to structured team methods, and capable of operating effectively in a dynamic and physical environment.
  • Preference given to candidates living in or near West Legon.
  • Training provided for committed candidates eager to develop expertise.

Package and Advancement

  • Remuneration includes a basic salary plus additional allowances, with incentives provided to high performers within a merit-based reward system.
  • Opportunities exist for career growth and professional development in inclusive education and therapy fields.
