About the Role and Team

Zillow Media Experts is actively hiring skilled photographers on a part-time basis in Long Island, NY, focusing on creating high-quality real estate media. You will play a key role in producing photos, videos, and Zillow's 3D interactive floor plans to assist real estate professionals in effectively marketing their property listings. This position involves driving locally to various properties, capturing media, and managing the editing workflow.

Work hours typically range from 10-20 per week but may increase during peak demand periods. Part-time via onsite work, with potential for full-time opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create professional still images, videos, 3D/360-degree virtual tours, and drone media for real estate listings as needed.
• Apply advanced photography methods and equipment to highlight unique property features for sales and rental purposes.
• Engage with clients onsite to clarify their photography requirements and expectations.
• Guide clients and property owners during shoots to optimize image and video results.
• Utilize proprietary technology tools to produce engaging multimedia experiences.
• Ensure adherence to Zillow’s brand standards and accurate, appealing property portrayal.
• Maintain and manage cameras, lenses, and photography accessories for consistent quality and reliability.
• Upload and organize media assets promptly to meet deadlines and scheduling commitments.
• Keep abreast of real estate photography trends and continually enhance technical skills.
• Conceptualize creative approaches to best showcase each property’s selling points.
• Collaborate with internal team members and external real estate professionals to support marketing initiatives.
• Adapt to evolving media formats, tools, and processes.
• Represent the Zillow Media Experts brand professionally in all interactions.

Requirements

• Proven photography experience, preferably in real estate or related fields, including interior and exterior property photos, videos, and virtual tours.
• Solid foundation with DSLR or mirrorless cameras supporting advanced features like Auto Exposure Bracketing (AEB).
• Willingness to obtain and hold FAA Part 107 drone certification and safely operate drones if required.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate and maintain reliable transportation; able to drive within a 60+ mile radius of the city center.
• Minimum availability of 20 hours weekly, with typical workloads below this average but flexible scheduling.
• Strong internet upload speeds preferred for timely media uploads.
• Residence near Long Island, NY.
• Equipment needed includes professional full-frame or crop sensor DSLR/mirrorless camera (e.g., Canon R7, R5, 5DmkIV), wide-angle zoom lenses (Full Frame 15-35mm or Crop 10-22mm), and a suitable tripod with ball or geared head.

Additional Information
