About The Team
This part-time opportunity is located in Orlando, Florida, where photographers generally work between 10 to 20 hours weekly, with potential to work beyond 20 hours during peak times. While initially part-time, there might be prospects for full-time roles later on.
Role Overview
In the capacity of a Photographer supporting Zillow Media Experts and Listing Media Services, responsibilities include capturing premium still images, listing videos, 3D/360° virtual tours, and drone content to showcase properties for sale or rent. You will apply advanced photographic methods to highlight the distinctive characteristics and appeal of each property, enabling sellers and realtors to promote listings effectively.
Client interaction on-site to gather precise photography requirements, guiding property owners during shoots, utilizing innovative proprietary technology for immersive media, and ensuring brand-consistent high-quality images are key to this role. They also involve upkeep and operation of photography gear, adherence to deadlines, and ongoing professional development following industry trends.
Job Details
This is primarily a field-based role, where work is performed within a defined location, requiring proximity for commuting. Typical hourly pay ranges vary by state, for instance $24.10 to $38.50 in certain states and $22.90 to $36.50 in others.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates have proven photography experience, ideally in real estate, excellent communication and client service skills, strong attention to detail, punctuality, and independence in their work approach.
Requirements
- Ability to master Zillow Media Expert protocols and systems.
- Experience capturing quality real estate photography and video, including drone footage.
- Sound grasp of photography fundamentals using DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
- May be required to acquire FAA Part 107 drone certification depending on needs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Capable of driving within a 60+ mile radius of Orlando city center.
- Provide minimum 20 hours availability weekly, typically less in practice.
- Prefer internet upload speeds of at least 15 Mbps.
- Residence near Orlando, FL.
Equipment Needed
- Professional full-frame or crop sensor DSLR/mirrorless camera with Auto Exposure Bracketing capability (e.g., Canon R7, R5, 6DmkII, 5DmkIV).
- Wide-angle zoom lens suitable for full frame or crop sensor cameras.
- Ball head or geared head tripod (video fluid head tripods not accepted).
