Photographer & Videographer - Creative Production Lead

About the Opportunity

Sertain Creative is seeking a seasoned Creative Production Lead for Photography & Video based in South Florida. This full-time position requires you to work onsite at our professional studio and client locations within South Florida. Applicants must currently reside locally and be able to commute; remote applications will not be accepted.

Our agency specializes in branding, commercial photography, videography, web design, advertising, social media, and digital marketing, partnering with diverse industries such as healthcare, wellness, luxury, hospitality, ecommerce, corporate, and lifestyle to deliver impactful content.

We operate a fully equipped production studio with professional Sony camera equipment and gear to support high-quality commercial projects both in-studio and on location. We’re looking beyond just camera operators — we want a creative visionary to lead our photo and video department.

Role Overview

This senior leadership role entails managing the entire photography and video production cycle. Responsibilities extend from client consultation and creative concept development through to directing shoots, talent management, capturing extraordinary imagery and footage, and delivering polished edits. The ideal candidate exhibits confidence, creative intuition, strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Projects vary weekly and may include commercial lifestyle photography and video, product shoots and commercials, corporate branding, healthcare productions, website and ecommerce content, testimonials, promotional campaigns, event coverage, social media shorts, paid ads, reels, TikToks, and long-form marketing videos.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all commercial photography and videography productions, including planning and organizing shoots from concept to completion.
• Engage directly with clients to understand goals, brainstorm concepts, create mood and shot boards, and provide creative direction regarding locations, styling, props, lighting, and wardrobe.
• Direct talent, clients, models, and influencers confidently while maintaining a positive, professional atmosphere on set.
• Operate professional Sony camera systems and recording equipment.
• Edit video content using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, ensuring final products meet high-quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with internal marketing, design, and project management teams to align all creative output with client objectives.
• Travel locally within South Florida for client productions as needed.
• Contribute to improving studio organization and production workflows.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in both commercial photography and videography.
• Proven portfolio showcasing expertise in lifestyle, commercial, product, branding, corporate, medical, website, ecommerce photography, and commercial videography.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and strong video editing skills.
• Expertise in storytelling, lighting, composition, camera techniques, professional audio recording, and color correction.
• Experience working in agency or commercial production environments.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with confident leadership in fast-paced settings.
• Strong client communication and relationship management skills.

Preferred Skills

• FAA Part 107 Drone License.
• Proficiency in After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, motion graphics, creative direction, product styling, and set design.

Equipment & Studio Access

The role provides full use of a professional production studio and Sony camera equipment. Use of personal gear is optional.
