Photographer and Videographer

Overview

American Golf is seeking a highly imaginative and commercially focused Photographer and Videographer to join their Marketing department. The successful candidate will play a key role in bringing both the American Golf and ILB brands to life by producing captivating visual content that engages audiences, elevates brand visibility, and supports business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and execute high-quality photographic content for various campaigns, product introductions, and retail promotions, covering both third-party and in-house brands.
• Provide videography support by assisting in video shoots and editing for campaign, retail, and social media purposes, occasionally taking charge of smaller video projects.
• Capture imagery in diverse settings such as studios, retail outlets, and external locations.
• Edit and produce photography assets suitable for social media channels, websites, email campaigns, paid advertising, and point-of-sale displays.
• Handle post-production duties including color correction, image retouching, and basic video editing.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing and other business teams to conceptualize creative ideas, content schedules, and shot lists.
• Ensure all visual materials comply with brand standards, campaign goals, and commercial objectives.
• Manage and maintain photography and videography equipment as well as oversee the content studio environment.
• Remain informed of the latest trends in content creation, photography, videography, and social media to continuously improve creative output.
• Respond efficiently to urgent content needs for seasonal, promotional, or reactive campaigns.
• Organize and maintain an accessible and well-structured library of visual assets for ongoing company use.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrable experience in photography, preferably within retail, sports, lifestyle, or consumer brand sectors.
• Experience supporting video production and videography tasks.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing creative and commercially effective work.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, or similar software.
• Deep understanding of lighting techniques, composition, visual storytelling, and content development best practices.
• Ability to perform in fast-moving environments and adjust to shifting priorities.
• Excellent organizational capabilities to handle multiple assignments within deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail and dedication to producing superior content quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of social media formats, platform specifications, and emerging content trends.
• Genuine enthusiasm for sports, retail, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Interest in social-first platforms such as TikTok and Instagram and their evolving content strategies.
