Job description

About the company

Myntra is one of India’s leading fashion and lifestyle marketplaces, blending technology with creativity to reshape the online fashion experience. Built on a culture of bold ideas, quick execution, and collaboration, the company encourages people to think differently and help expand how India expresses style.

Founded in 2007 and now a pioneer in fashion e-commerce, Myntra has grown from a customization business into a technology-led fashion platform. The workplace is described as energetic, merit-driven, inclusive, and designed to support learning, curiosity, and ownership.

Role overview

Phoenix - KAM is a returnship program for women returning after a career break. This six-month onsite opportunity in Bengaluru is designed to provide a supportive re-entry into the workplace through structured onboarding, tailored learning, mentorship, and hands-on project work. The program is aimed at helping participants rebuild their careers and may open doors to full-time opportunities at Myntra.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify fast-growing D2C brands by tracking social media trends, then approach founders and secure early onboarding opportunities.
  • Handle commercial discussions end to end, including contract terms, margin negotiations, and final approvals.
  • Manage the onboarding process from KYC checks and catalogue mapping to portal integration.
  • Support newly launched brands with intensive post-launch assistance to drive early GMV, minimize cancellations, and maintain strong stock availability.
  • Work with brands to improve listing quality, search discoverability, imagery, and placement opportunities across site-wide events.
  • Use performance data to identify promising brands and transition them into long-term account management structures.
  • Monitor SLA adherence, RTS timelines, ODR spikes, and seller health, and execute improvement plans for underperforming accounts.
  • Analyze returns and customer feedback to separate logistics issues from product-quality concerns.
  • Manage seller tiering, incentives, penalties, and appeal handling in a fair and structured manner.
  • Promote the JIT business model for premium D2C partners and support the move from warehouse storage to drop-ship fulfillment.
  • Carry out warehouse feasibility checks and ensure JIT orders are processed within the 24-hour hub window.
  • Coordinate with field teams to reduce missed pick-ups and apply Pareto analysis to fix the main causes of operational delays.
  • Convert annual operating plans into daily and weekly targets, and use historical trends to anticipate supply constraints during major events.
  • Build and maintain dashboards that consolidate NMV, GMV, Ads, and RTO data into a single source of truth.
  • Run scenario-based analysis on margin and pricing changes, and prepare detailed performance notes for monthly leadership reviews.
  • Resolve seller concerns, technical issues, and payment mismatches within the expected turnaround time.
  • Oversee the Vendor Protection Fund by identifying fraud, validating claims, and closing genuine disputes.
  • Represent seller issues in internal product and technology discussions to help improve the Seller Central experience.
  • Support core buying and inwarding tasks such as OTB validation, PO/OI creation, slot monitoring, and stock allocation.
  • Address catalogue errors, unlock non-live inventory, and improve availability across hyperlocal and top-seller stock streams.

Candidate profile

  • 3 to 4 years of experience in e-commerce account management, marketplace operations, brand acquisition, or category management.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, fashion management, or another analytical discipline is required; an MBA is preferred.
  • Strong command of Excel is essential.
  • Practical experience with SQL and Tableau or Power BI is highly desirable.
  • Background in negotiating with brand founders, distributors, or enterprise clients is important.
  • Good understanding of e-commerce supply chains, fulfillment models, and SLA management is needed.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills are required for cross-functional collaboration.
