Pharmacy Technician (NUHS@Home)

Role Overview

The Pharmacy Technician at NUHS@Home supports pharmacists in the preparation and management of medication orders, overseeing inventory processes and ensuring effective pharmaceutical service delivery remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with processing medication orders including typing, packaging, labeling, and distribution of medications.
• Handle billing tasks to ensure proper cost and revenue recovery for stock supplies when applicable.
• Provide medication counseling under pharmacist supervision through tele-consultation.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage drug stock within assigned work areas.
• Receive, unpack, and verify incoming deliveries against documentation to confirm accuracy and completeness.
• Process stock receipts and issues following First-In-First-Out (FIFO) protocols.
• Contribute to delivering high-quality customer service.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of workspaces.
• Support orientation for newly assigned staff members in the section.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science along with relevant practical experience.
• Flexibility to work staggered shifts and willingness to work weekend half-day morning shifts.
• Ability to travel to remote NUH sites located in the western region as needed.
