Job description
Role Overview
The Pharmacy Technician at NUHS@Home supports pharmacists in the preparation and management of medication orders, overseeing inventory processes and ensuring effective pharmaceutical service delivery remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with processing medication orders including typing, packaging, labeling, and distribution of medications.
- Handle billing tasks to ensure proper cost and revenue recovery for stock supplies when applicable.
- Provide medication counseling under pharmacist supervision through tele-consultation.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage drug stock within assigned work areas.
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming deliveries against documentation to confirm accuracy and completeness.
- Process stock receipts and issues following First-In-First-Out (FIFO) protocols.
- Contribute to delivering high-quality customer service.
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of workspaces.
- Support orientation for newly assigned staff members in the section.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science along with relevant practical experience.
- Flexibility to work staggered shifts and willingness to work weekend half-day morning shifts.
- Ability to travel to remote NUH sites located in the western region as needed.
