Role Overview and Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by fostering strong relationships and delivering patient-focused solutions; lead and mentor staff to uphold exemplary customer service daily.
  • Implement pharmacy initiatives and new product launches to enhance patient care, increase sales, manage labor costs, monitor profit margins, and reduce inventory losses.
  • Advocate for patient welfare by applying professional practice standards and collaborating with the team to deliver company programs.
  • Create an encouraging and patient-centric atmosphere ensuring product availability, adherence to service standards, and achievement of business goals and KPIs.
  • Engage in all facets of the Fusion system to guarantee a smooth and uniform pharmacy experience across different store locations.
  • Serve as a company values ambassador; promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, fostering a welcoming environment within the pharmacy team.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, development, performance evaluation, and succession planning for pharmacy staff.
  • Maintain a supportive, motivating workplace culture, balancing staffing levels effectively and encouraging staff to maximize their potential.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies including Occupational Health and Safety and Loss Prevention; provide necessary training to the team.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Possession of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing for the province of operation.
  • Certification in Injection and First Aid.
  • At least two years' experience practicing as a licensed pharmacist.
  • Experience with Kroll pharmacy software is preferred.
