Role Summary

This remote contract position is for a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative who will introduce assigned products to healthcare professionals, including primary care providers and specialists, through virtual meetings and, when needed, occasional in-person visits. The role centers on territory planning, product education, relationship building, compliant communication, and consistent reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage territory plans to support product growth and physician engagement.
  • Arrange and deliver product presentations to healthcare professionals through virtual channels and in person when required.
  • Respond to clinical and product-related questions with accurate, evidence-based, and compliant information.
  • Develop strong working relationships with providers and maintain ongoing account coverage.
  • Track market developments and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
  • Record call activity, customer feedback, and performance results in CRM systems.
  • Work with internal teams to share field observations and support brand alignment.
  • Assist with training activities and product launch support when needed.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with the confidence to simplify complex information for varied healthcare audiences.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales or broader healthcare sales, ideally in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Working knowledge of pharmacy or life sciences concepts, including indications, mechanisms of action, and safety information.
  • Sales capabilities such as territory management, prospecting, and closing within a regulated setting.
  • Strong comfort using digital tools, CRM platforms, virtual meeting software, and data-based reporting.
  • Good time management, self-direction, and the ability to stay productive while working independently.
  • Commitment to ethical behavior, regulatory compliance, and collaborative teamwork.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related area, or equivalent relevant experience.

This is a contract role based in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area and is structured as remote work. The position focuses on ethical promotion of pharmaceutical products within a highly regulated environment.
