In this position, you will support both commercial and residential clients by helping maintain pest-free premises. The role suits someone who enjoys being on the road, solving issues in the field, meeting different people, and delivering strong customer service with a sharp eye for detail.

About the business

Geelong Pest Control Pty Ltd is a family-run business with ex-military roots, providing professional pest control and termite services to homeowners and businesses throughout Geelong, the Surf Coast, and surrounding regional Victoria.

What the role involves

  • Providing pest control services to homes and commercial sites within the assigned service region.
  • Managing client visits independently and maintaining a high standard of work in the field.
  • Using mobile tools and service apps to support job completion and reporting.
  • Communicating effectively with customers and internal teams in both spoken and written form.

What is on offer

  • A fully maintained company van, fuel car, and mobile phone.
  • Employee cash incentive schemes and bonus opportunities.
  • Company uniform, complete protective equipment, and the tools required for the job.
  • Structured induction, training, and qualification support.
  • Access to an employee assistance program for you and your family.
  • Continuous learning and development opportunities.
  • Clear pathways for career growth, including supervisory, managerial, and cross-functional roles.
  • Additional benefits beyond the above.

What you need to bring

  • A current Australian open or unrestricted driver’s licence.
  • Confidence driving a manual vehicle.
  • Eligibility to work full time in Australia.
  • An interest in pest control or experience in a related field.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Clear communication skills for dealing with customers and colleagues.
  • Physical fitness, the ability to work alone, and willingness to travel long distances.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently work to targets.
  • A commitment to following customer and company safety requirements.
  • Comfort using a mobile phone service app or tablet.
  • Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check.

Recruitment checks

As part of the hiring process, shortlisted candidates will need to complete a pre-employment medical assessment, reference checks, and a police check.
