Role Overview
As a Personalplaner, you will take care of workforce scheduling for operational staff in a way that is efficient, compliant, and aligned with legal and employee-representation rules. The position is based in Dresden, starts immediately, and is offered as a permanent full-time role; part-time work is also possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Create cost-effective staffing plans while following statutory rules and works council regulations.
- Prepare duty rosters and communicate shifts to operational employees in line with the applicable rules.
- Record duty assignments and absence periods in the planning system.
- Review incoming leave and release requests while ensuring sufficient staffing coverage.
- Assign operational employees to internal training sessions and vehicle-series or route familiarization trips.
What You Should Bring
- Completed vocational training in a commercial or logistics-related field.
- Solid professional experience in workforce scheduling.
- Basic knowledge of how railway transport services are practically delivered.
- Basic understanding of the Working Hours Act.
- Very strong written and spoken German skills at minimum C1 level.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, flexibility, and resilience.
