Role Summary
This full-time Office Assistant position is based in Doha, Qatar and offers a hybrid setup with some work-from-home flexibility. The role is centered on keeping daily office operations running smoothly through administrative support, coordination, record handling, and communication with internal and external contacts.
Key Duties
- Manage incoming phone calls and email correspondence in a professional manner.
- Arrange meetings and maintain calendars and schedules.
- Keep records organized and update files as needed.
- Prepare routine documents and assist with basic data entry and simple reporting tasks.
- Track office supplies and equipment, and help ensure essentials are available.
- Coordinate with team members and outside visitors when needed.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and professional office environment.
- Follow up promptly on requests and support overall office efficiency.
Qualifications
- Excellent telephone manners and a polished, professional communication style.
- Background in administrative or clerical support, including scheduling, recordkeeping, and document handling.
- Ability to use and resolve basic issues with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and copiers.
- Strong written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages is an added benefit.
- Well-developed organization, attention to detail, and the ability to handle several tasks with limited supervision.
- Comfort using common computer tools such as email, word processing, and spreadsheets; familiarity with office software or scheduling platforms is advantageous.
- Prior office support experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Willingness to work on-site in Doha with a hybrid arrangement and collaborate respectfully in a diverse environment.
