Job Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Personal and Travelling Butler to support an Ultra High Net Worth Individual (UHNWI) and their family of five (two adults and three children) based primarily in Dubai. The role involves comprehensive personal assistance during daily routines and extensive international travel, including private yacht and jet management. The Butler will serve as the primary liaison coordinating household staff, personal events, and the principal's various needs with utmost discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive personal support covering all personal affairs of the principal.
- Understand and anticipate the principal’s preferences, calendar, and daily requirements to proactively manage tasks and appointments.
- Manage personal shopping, gift procurement, and errands while ensuring confidentiality.
- Coordinate with household staff such as nannies, chefs, and domestic helpers, as well as liaise with vendors and the principal’s office.
- Organize and accompany the principal on domestic and international trips, arranging flights, lodging, ground transport, visas, and travel itineraries.
- Provide on-trip assistance including luggage handling and scheduling.
- Plan and supervise personal events including venue, catering, transport, and contingencies.
- Manage the principal’s wardrobe in partnership with stylists and tailors, overseeing packing/unpacking and wardrobe maintenance services.
- Ensure the highest levels of discretion and privacy protection at all times.
Qualifications and Criteria
- Basic education required; additional diploma, university, or formal butler training certificates are advantageous.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) is essential; additional languages a plus.
- Computer literacy including MS Office, Outlook, Internet of Things (IOT) technologies, and AI applications.
- Valid Dubai and/or international driving license with a clean record.
- Prior experience working as a personal butler or comparable role in a high-profile family or UHNWI setting.
- Experience handling yachts, private jets, and sophisticated wardrobes is highly preferred.
- Excellent organization, multitasking, time management skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Flexibility for extensive travel and irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
