Role overview
This full-time permanent delivery role with Canada Post is based in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. The position involves representing the organization in the community while ensuring that customers and businesses receive mail and parcels reliably and on time.

What you will do
- Start the day at the mail delivery depot by sorting and preparing the items scheduled for delivery.
- Load and operate a postal vehicle as part of daily route preparation.
- Spend much of the day outside delivering letters and parcels to customers on foot or by vehicle.
- Return to the depot to unload incoming mail and parcels for later delivery.
Eligibility and key requirements
- A valid Class 5 or G driver’s licence with a clean driving record for at least the last three years; a driving abstract is required.
- Ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) on a regular basis during the workday.
- Comfortable working in all kinds of weather conditions.
- English proficiency is essential.
Preferred experience
- Background in customer service is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in delivery work or driving roles is also helpful.
