Team overview

The Global Service Delivery team supports Agoda’s office infrastructure and employee connectivity by providing the hardware, software, and system access needed for smooth day-to-day work across global locations. The People Technology team within GSD owns the HR systems that support core people processes such as employee lifecycle management, performance management, and organizational data, helping the business scale while improving the employee experience.

Role overview

Agoda is seeking a People Technology Manager for the Implementation Team to lead the Workday Functional Team and help reshape how technology supports global People operations. This role works across Workday, Zendesk, and Greenhouse to introduce new modules, improve existing capabilities, and strengthen the broader HR technology landscape.

You will contribute to Agoda’s HR Tech transformation, including solutions like Workday Journeys and the Workday AI agent roadmap. The role also involves reviewing current module design, identifying improvement opportunities, and presenting strategic recommendations to senior People leaders. In addition, you will collaborate with Technology teams to design hybrid solutions for new HR technology use cases.

What you will do

  • Create the technical roadmap and rollout plan for Agoda’s HR Tech transformation in collaboration with the People Tech PMO Manager.
  • Review current functional setups, uncover improvement areas, reduce technical debt, and help establish governance for application management, change requests, and implementation standards with the People Tech Operational Excellence Manager.
  • Guide a team of experienced subject-matter experts as they implement, enhance, and rework Workday modules across the organization.
  • Build team capability, strengthen the technical portfolio, and improve organizational resilience through talent development and capability building.
  • Set and track OKRs that support the HR Tech transformation agenda together with People Tech leadership.
  • Work with senior stakeholders across Agoda to ensure HR technology priorities support broader business goals.

What you need

  • At least 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams, ideally within a Workday environment.
  • Proven track record in HR digital transformation across tools such as Workday, Zendesk, ServiceNow, and Greenhouse, with end-to-end implementation ownership.
  • Strong familiarity with Scrum practices and the ability to work effectively in Agile teams.
  • Working knowledge of the Workday product landscape, including Journeys, Recruiting, Position Management, AI Agents, and Adaptive Planning.
  • Clear understanding of the hire-to-retire employee lifecycle and the ability to convert business needs into an HR transformation roadmap.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous situations, with a proactive mindset for handling exceptions, dependencies, and risk.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a high level of ownership, with the ability to contribute expertise while solving complex problems as a team.
  • Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement to simplify processes, increase scalability, and lower operational complexity.
  • Strong project delivery and stakeholder management experience across cross-functional groups.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to produce insights that support decision-making.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English.
