About the Role

This is an early-career opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing order to ambiguity and turning ideas into progress. The role spans multiple areas of the People team, with the main objective of driving priority initiatives and supporting the People Leadership team on high-impact work such as employer branding, internal mobility, and global onboarding.

The position calls for a strong operator and communicator who can coordinate cross-functional partners, bring clarity to complex work, and execute quickly and thoughtfully. Your work will help the People team run smoothly so the broader organization can stay focused on enabling employees and creating meaningful experiences.

Key Outcomes

• Keep People initiatives aligned to strategic goals by identifying gaps early, adding structure where needed, and removing blockers so teams can move forward.
• Own projects from concept through delivery, ensuring they stay aligned to priorities, produce measurable results, and improve through feedback.
• Support People leadership in handling sensitive and complex matters carefully to protect the employee experience.
• Work closely with a broad range of partners across the company, including People leaders, project owners, the environment team, and new hires.
• Help sustain and evolve the company culture by building relationships across the business and serving as a strong culture ambassador during growth.

What You Need to Bring

You should be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. A practical, hands-on attitude is important, along with the ability to anticipate change and translate ambiguity into clear action steps.

Comfort working with AI tools is also expected. You should be interested in using AI to simplify workflows, reduce repetitive work, and improve execution, while also encouraging wider adoption across the People function.

Success in this role also depends on a proven history of strong execution, a high standard for quality, attention to detail, data-informed decision-making, and the ability to test work end to end. The company values people who have achieved strongly in any field, including academics, sports, creative pursuits, or professional projects.

Good candidates will also be strong at problem-solving, capable of understanding context before acting, breaking complex issues into manageable pieces, and balancing technical clarity with business impact.

Clear communication and self-direction matter as well. You should own your work, report progress and obstacles openly, take initiative without waiting for every instruction, and independently work through problems while knowing when to ask questions.

Compensation

For San Francisco-based candidates, the estimated hourly rate is $40 to $57, which annualizes to a base salary range of $85,000 to $120,000. Compensation may differ based on location, scope of the role, and the candidate’s experience and expertise.
