Role overview

This position supports the people operations function by keeping HR activities organized, improving the employee journey, and helping HR processes run smoothly. The role works across recruitment support, onboarding and exit coordination, employee file management, HR paperwork, policy rollout, and engagement efforts.

The person in this role will partner with HR leaders, managers, and employees to help create a positive workplace, follow internal policies and employment rules, and assist with a range of HR initiatives. It also includes coordinating learning sessions, maintaining HR records, handling employee questions, tracking HR data, and suggesting improvements that support employee satisfaction and business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day HR and people operations tasks.
  • Support hiring processes, including recruitment coordination and scheduling.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding activities for employees.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with HR administration and policy implementation.
  • Help run employee engagement and workplace experience initiatives.
  • Work with managers, HR leaders, and staff to support a healthy employee experience.
  • Respond to employee queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support training coordination and related HR programs.
  • Monitor HR metrics and contribute ideas for process improvement.
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Management, or a similar discipline.
  • Prior experience in HR, people operations, HR coordination, employee relations, or HR administration.
  • Solid understanding of HR workflows, employee lifecycle management, recruitment support, onboarding, performance management, and HR best practices.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, workplace policies, HR compliance, and confidentiality standards.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, payroll tools, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Strong planning, time management, and administrative skills with careful attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across levels.
  • Experience supporting employee engagement, learning and development, wellness, or culture initiatives is preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters discreetly and professionally.
  • Comfort managing multiple priorities in a busy environment while staying accurate and professional.
  • Professional HR credentials such as SHRM-CP, PHR, CIPD, or similar qualifications are an added advantage.

This role is based in the London Area, United Kingdom and is offered on a part-time, onsite basis.
