About the Role

This position sits within the People & Culture function and focuses on administration, training coordination, and employee support. You will partner with the People & Culture team to deliver efficient HR services to both employees and managers while contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace.
What You Will Do
- Build and sustain healthy employee relations by responding to concerns, questions, and ideas in a professional manner.
- Support recruitment coordination, including keeping a current CV bank ready for future hiring requirements.
- Run new hire orientation and onboarding programmes so new team members integrate smoothly into hotel standards and culture.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver training across the hotel, covering customer service, Responsible Business, compliance, and operational topics.
- Work with department leaders to assess training needs, create annual training plans, and strengthen coaching and on-the-job learning.
- Keep employee records complete, secure, and up to date, including personnel files, leave information, training logs, attendance registers, and related People & Culture databases.
- Prepare People & Culture reports, letters, and other official documents accurately and within deadlines.
- Coordinate HR activities across departments to ensure clear communication and successful rollout of initiatives.
- Drive engagement and wellbeing initiatives such as recognition activities, social gatherings, sports, wellness programmes, and other employee events.
- Maintain internal communication tools such as notice boards and employee information displays.
- Track compliance with hotel policies, training requirements, and mandatory learning through follow-ups and workplace checks.
- Support business goals by developing training approaches that improve service quality and employee performance.
- Encourage continuous learning by introducing new training methods and supporting skill-building across roles.
- Organize meetings, training sessions, and events, including arranging the venue, equipment, refreshments, and materials.
- Handle general office administration such as hotel mail, trace files, stationery, and confidential correspondence.
- Maintain constructive relationships across departments while representing the hotel with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Contribute to Responsible Business efforts by taking part in environmental, social, and community activities.
What We Are Looking For
- Hands-on experience with Workday or a similar HRIS platform, along with strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Good understanding of HR policies, best practices, and relevant regulations.
- Strong written and spoken communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
- High levels of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Comfort working independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Adaptability and the ability to handle change in a fast-paced environment.
