Role Overview

The People and Culture Recruiter will be responsible for managing the complete recruiting lifecycle for designated positions. This role develops and executes innovative sourcing strategies to meet organizational hiring demands and uphold the leadership brand strategy. Key responsibilities include screening resumes, interviewing candidates, and employing consultative skills to align candidate and hiring manager expectations. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or French is preferred to enhance communication capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including intake, interviewing, and closing candidate selection to fill roles efficiently.
• Design and implement advanced search strategies to build pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Maintain and update the CRM database to track potential candidates and ensure recruitment activities comply with OFCCP requirements.
• Conduct online candidate search campaigns using diverse internet search engines to source high-quality applicants.
• Oversee internal and external recruitment efforts and placements.
• Foster collaborative relationships with hiring managers to understand ongoing and upcoming business staffing needs.
• Continuously improve both candidate and hiring manager experiences through regular process enhancements.
• Ensure timely progression of candidates throughout the hiring stages.
• Promote and implement recruitment initiatives that encourage ownership and involvement at all organizational levels.
• Provide ongoing training for hiring managers on behavioral interviewing and competency frameworks to ensure compliant and effective interview processes.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with candidates throughout and after the recruitment process.
• Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards related to sourcing, staffing, and hiring practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources, business, or marketing.
• At least one year of experience in sourcing, full-cycle recruiting, or a human resources role, including familiarity with applicant tracking or customer relationship management systems.
• Certification or training such as AIRS (CIR) in sourcing is advantageous.

Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/database management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Strong skills in candidate relationship building, interviewing, assessment, negotiation, and communication.
• Initiative-driven with the capacity to build productive personal relationships.
• Creative and proficient writer with excellent organizational aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The role requires physical activities such as lifting and carrying supplies, bending, mobility around the hotel, and occasional standing for training sessions. Excellent auditory and communication skills are necessary for interviews and discussions. The position is primarily office-based, with 95% of work conducted indoors, and reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
