We have a new, exciting opening for an experienced People & Culture Manager to join the leadership team at Crystalbrook Aurora, the newest hotel launching in Canberra. This is a crucial pre-opening leadership position responsible for establishing the foundational people strategies that will shape the hotel's culture, team capability, and overall performance from the outset.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the recruitment and onboarding plans for Crystalbrook Aurora's opening team.
• Collaborate with the Group People & Culture team to foster a high-performing, values-driven workplace culture.
• Offer expert advice and coaching to leaders regarding employee performance, engagement, and growth development.
• Manage workforce planning, talent pipeline development, and leadership succession processes.
• Ensure full compliance with all employment laws, awards, and Crystalbrook's policies.
• Promote initiatives that increase collaborator wellbeing and job satisfaction.
• Help implement broader People & Culture strategies and programs aimed at sustaining organizational success.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has a strong background as a People & Culture leader in the hospitality industry, adept at navigating the dynamic, fast-paced environment of hotel operations. You demonstrate commercial insight, sound HR decision-making skills, and the ability to cultivate trusted partnerships with leaders and staff alike. Most notably, you're motivated by the challenge and opportunity of establishing a team and shaping the employee experience within a brand-new hotel.
