Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented People and Culture Analyst to join our Shared Services team. The role is primarily based in Wellington but exceptional candidates from Auckland and Christchurch will also be considered. Reporting to the Reward Manager, you will provide vital analytics and reporting support to the People and Culture department, focusing on remuneration processes and workforce data insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver monthly and on-demand people analytics and reports to leadership teams.
- Explore and interpret workforce data relating to turnover, engagement, remuneration, and staff movements.
- Drive remuneration review cycles by preparing data, performing analysis, modeling, and reporting findings.
- Assist with market remuneration surveys, benefits management, and reward performance reporting.
- Ensure data reliability and precision across HR systems, remuneration spreadsheets, and reporting platforms.
- Champion continuous process and technology improvements within HR data management and reward workflows.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Prior experience in HR analytics, compensation management, or people reporting roles.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and handling complex datasets.
- Familiarity with HR information systems and visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information sensitively.
- Strong communication skills capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and balancing multiple priorities.
- Preferably holds tertiary qualifications in human resources, business, analytics, or a related field.
