Position Summary

The role of Completed Vehicle Body Repair Technician requires skilled automotive repair professionals experienced in managing advanced vehicle technologies. Candidates must be energetic, highly driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and urgency. Collaboration and teamwork are critical components within our organizational culture.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and precise diagnostic assessments on Lucid's all-electric vehicles.
• Conduct body repairs adhering to Lucid's stringent quality standards.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components as necessary, ensuring both vehicle and workstation cleanliness.
• Provide detailed failure analyses to support engineering teams.
• Engage in continuous skill enhancement to expand technical proficiency.
• Support the development and refinement of repair procedures.
• Lead training sessions instructing others on repair methodologies.
• Operate various hand and power tools safely and with a focus on quality outcomes.
• Acquire and demonstrate expertise on emerging automotive technologies.
• Maintain electronic documentation of repair work utilizing multiple systems as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve underlying issues.
• Adhere strictly to personal protective equipment protocols and uphold a clean working environment.
• Interpret automotive harness and circuit diagrams effectively.

Essential Skills and Physical Requirements

• Ability to maintain speed without compromising craftsmanship.
• Stamina to stand long periods during vehicle repairs.
• Frequent physical movements including walking, sitting, bending, pushing/pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and crawling.
• Capability to lift objects weighing up to 22 kilograms.
• Safe operation of heavy workshop equipment such as hoists, lifts, and lifting tables.
• Proficiency in following written and verbal English instructions.
• Willingness to work overtime, night shifts, or weekends when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent credential.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Between 2 and 5 years of relevant experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.
