Role Overview
This position focuses on managing payroll operations end to end, making sure payroll activities are completed accurately, reconciled, audited, and sent out on time. The role also supports team delivery, training, and process improvement while maintaining strong quality standards.
Key Duties
- Handle training for new joiners using the current process and system approach.
- Support teammates by sharing feedback on delivery quality and assessment outcomes.
- Help organize pod-based work allocation and manage workload so service levels are achieved.
- Balance work between processing tasks and team support as required; in some situations, the role may shift fully to process work depending on team structure, size, and process criticality.
- Review and audit outputs before and after go-live.
- Encourage use of internal procedures, checklists, and error logs.
- Ensure every part of the payroll cycle is processed, reconciled, checked, and transmitted accurately and within deadlines.
- Process payroll changes, payments, and other inputs for assigned clients with accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform quality checks and audits to keep errors and defects low.
- Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to resolve payroll concerns and employee queries.
- Use analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve incidents efficiently.
- Share regular updates with customers on incident progress.
- Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the support knowledge base.
- Work proactively by identifying opportunities and suggesting process improvements.
- Monitor scheduled import and export files.
- Process import records and generate export HR files from DF to ICP.
- Validate processes and investigate failed or problematic file imports.
- Raise cases through CRM for failed import/export files and notifications.
- Update SharePoint status after each job is completed.
- Coordinate with the technical support team as needed.
- Validate trial exception error reports against GTN.
- Keep the global team informed about escalations and partner/client feedback.
- Follow all procedures and controls in place.
Performance Expectations

- Support customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery.
- Carry out corrective and preventive actions when needed.
- Maintain key delivery data for reporting and metric tracking.

- Proactively surface risks and concerns.
- Escalate complaints without delay.
- Act on development feedback and apply it effectively.
- Report to the Associate Manager or Manager.
- Escalate exceptions promptly to the Associate Manager, Manager, or Director.
- Be accountable for individual performance.
