About J&T Express
J&T Express is a rapidly expanding global logistics firm active across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America. During its growth phase in Germany, the company is developing scalable frameworks and providing opportunities for impactful contributions from new employees immediately.
The Payroll Specialist position, based currently in Kelsterbach with office relocation planned to Nieder-Olm near Mainz by October 2026, offers a key role in reinforcing our HR department by managing payroll processes and supporting compensation and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile, verify, and coordinate payroll data to guarantee accurate monthly payroll execution.
- Liaise with internal departments and external payroll providers for monthly payroll coordination.
- Analyze payroll reports and assist in enhancing payroll quality and process efficiency.
- Facilitate payroll-related reporting, reconciliation, and validation of data.
- Assist with Compensation & Benefits functions including salary modifications, bonus handling, and benefits management.
- Prepare HR-related documentation and maintain up-to-date employee records.
- Collaborate with the HR team and external payroll vendors to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Adhere to German payroll legislation, internal standards, and statutory regulations.
Candidate Profile
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in German payroll or payroll administration roles.
- Knowledge of Compensation & Benefits processes considered an asset.
- Comprehensive understanding of German payroll systems and applicable legislation.
- Methodical, detail-focused, and dependable work ethic.
- Excellent communication and organizational aptitude.
- Proactive approach with ability to work autonomously within a multinational and dynamic setting.
- Proficiency in German and English required; Mandarin language skills are advantageous.
