Role overview

Kiepe Electric is looking to add a Payroll Specialist (m/w/d) to its Human Resources department in Düsseldorf. The position focuses on end-to-end payroll administration, careful handling of compensation data, and close coordination with employees, authorities, and external bodies.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare the monthly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Maintain and check all master data and variable payroll data relevant to salary processing.
  • Act as the point of contact for employees, social insurance providers, and public authorities on payroll-related matters.
  • Review travel expense statements and ensure they are correctly transferred into payroll processing.
  • Generate certificates, reports, evaluations, and statistical summaries.
  • Support audits and inspections, including those carried out by tax authorities and social insurance institutions.
  • Help improve and further develop payroll processes on an ongoing basis in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Your profile

  • Completed commercial or business-related vocational training, together with several years of payroll experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of income tax, social security, labour law, and IG Metall collective agreements.
  • Practical experience with travel expense processing in line with BMTV and the travel expense regulations.
  • Confident use of payroll accounting software; experience with ADP Paisy is an advantage.
  • Excellent German language skills.
  • Very good MS Office skills, especially in Excel.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, a confident manner, and a high level of initiative as the link between the company, service providers, and employees.
