Role Overview
The Payroll Specialist position at CSE Global Ltd. is a part-time remote role tasked with ensuring precise and prompt payroll management for specific employees or units. Daily responsibilities include preparing and verifying payroll information, validating attendance data, calculating payroll elements like earnings and deductions, and administering off-cycle payments as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete end-to-end payroll processing and collaborate with payroll service providers.
- Administer payroll taxes and assure adherence to all relevant legislative and company regulations.
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and court-mandated payments with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Respond to employee payroll questions with a service-oriented approach.
- Reconcile payroll reports and aid in audits and monthly closing by supplying accurate records and analyses.
- Work with HR, Finance, and other teams to resolve payroll issues, enhance processes, and maintain data accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Expertise in payroll administration including coordination with external payroll vendors.
- Knowledge of multi-jurisdictional payroll taxes, compliance, and regulations.
- Experience managing garnishments and statutory deductions confidentially.
- Proficiency with payroll systems, HRIS, spreadsheet applications, and fundamental finance principles.
- Strong analytical attention to detail to detect and rectify payroll discrepancies.
- Excellent communication skills for handling employee inquiries effectively.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines remotely, and handle sensitive data responsibly.
- Relevant prior experience in payroll, finance, or HR; certifications or coursework in payroll are beneficial.
