Role overview
St Vincent’s Private Hospital is accepting applications for a Payroll Executive to join its Payroll Department in Dublin. This position is focused on end-to-end payroll processing within a busy hospital environment.
Essential criteria
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a high-volume payroll through the full cycle, from initiation to completion.
- Working knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated experience handling complete payroll runs independently.
- Strong numerical ability along with sound analytical thinking.
- High levels of accuracy and close attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new systems.
- Advanced proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
- Capacity to work on personal initiative while also contributing effectively within a team, with a flexible approach to duties.
- Strong time management skills and a history of meeting firm deadlines.
- Good teamwork, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
Desirable experience
- An iPASS qualification.
- Familiarity with the Megapay payroll platform.
- Background in hospital payroll operations and salary structures.
- Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven workplace.
- Understanding of Revenue Online Services.
